Capt. Gerald Anthony Matacale, Sr. 72, of Wildwood, Fla., formerly of Hornell, passed away the morning of November 22, 2012 along with his beloved boxer and best friend “Allie," as a result of an auto accident on the way to Thanksgiving Day dinner.
