Hornell
Marian McIntyre, 87, of 129 East Main Street, passed away Sunday (November 10, 2013) at her home.
Born in Geneseo, January 23, 1926, the daughter of Fred and Mary McIntyre, she had resided in Wayland and Hornell the past several years. Marian was a great conversationalist, and especially enjoyed talking about the “Good Old Days”. She spent many years assisting people with maintaining their homes, and displayed a great love for children. Marian will be especially remembered for her love of dancing the “Polka”.
She was predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by two sisters, Joan Christiano of Lima and Sally (Harold) Smith of York , her brother, Frederick (Kathy) McIntyre of Mt. Morris, her extended family at the ARC of Steuben as well as nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends on Thursday, November 14, 2013, at the Bender – Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell from 10 AM until 11 AM at which time a funeral services will be held with Deacon Robert McCormick officiating. Burial will be in Temple Hill Cemetery, Geneseo.
