Sharon K. McEvoy, 55, of Hornell St., passed away Saturday (December 21, 2013) at home.
Born in Hornell, March 9, 1958, the daughter of Charles L. and Phyllis Lorow McGregor Sr., she had resided in Hornell most of her life. Sharon was employed at the Ira-Davenport Hospital in Bath and enjoyed Shopping, crafts, her pets, but most of all her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents Sharon was predeceased by one brother, Richard McGregor Sr.
She is survived by her husband Daniel of whom she married in 1996, four children, Sherry (Paul) Stewart of TN, Christina (William) Teeters of Hornell, Jeffery (Shavonna) Plank of Hornell and Nicholas (Sara Wing) Rideout of Hornell, four sisters, Margaret Willis of Elmira, Crystal Fullmer, Lynne (Darryl) Clark and Pamela Marlitt all of Hornell, six brothers,Brian McGregor Charles (Charlene) McGregor of Canisteo, Michael (Dawn) McGregor I of Caniseo, Dennis (Elizabeth) McGregor of Greenwood, Stephen McGregor of Victor and Scott (Kimberly) McGregor of Canisteo, Sister-in-law, Cynthia McGregor, 16 grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends on Thursday (Dec. 26, 2013) from 11Am until 1Pm at the Bender-Brown and Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell. Funeral services will follow calling at 1pm at the funeral home.
