Evelyne A. Reynolds, 72, a resident of Absolut of Houghton, and former longtime resident of Angelica, passed away Tuesday (January 21, 2014).

Born in West Union, NY, February 7, 1941, the daughter of Howard and Miriam (Foster) Morton, she was a graduate of Belfast Central School “Class of 1958”. Evie was retired from Allegany County in 2002. She was a member of the Alfred-Almond Bible Church, and most recently attended the Genesis Bible Church. Evie enjoyed walking, volunteering for the Angelica Booster Citizens, and participating in the local Caregivers Support Group.

She is survived by her husband Richard “Rich” Reynolds, whom she married on July 4, 1959, her daughter Deborah Auman of Wellsville, 2 sons Douglas Reynolds of Angelica, Bradley (Karen) Reynolds of Olean, 4 grandchildren Kari, Raymie, Nikole, and Jarrett, 3 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Sharon O’Neil of Williamsville, Melanie Miller of Caneadea, 3 brothers Howard “Gene” (Jacquie) Morton of Caneadea, James (Sandy) Morton of Belfast, Michael (Kathy) Morton of Caneadea, several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday (January 25, 2014) at 2:00pm at the Genesis Bible Church (located on Route 19). Burial will be at Until the Day Dawn Cemetery in Angelica.
