Marilyn McPeak Logue Hornell Marilyn McPeak Logue (Sis) 87, was born on January 18, 1927 in Olean. New York. She died on January 23rd in Hornell New York. She was a long term resident of the Hornell Gardens Skilled Nursing Home. Mrs. Logue was pre-deceased by her husband David Logue, her sisters, Anna Van Cleaf and Gladys Alridge, along with her parents, Henry McPeak Sr. and Gladys Stevenson McPeak of Olean New York. Mrs. Logue’s brother, Henry(Bud) McPeak Jr. lives in Durham, NC. Aunt Marilyn grew up on Green Street in Olean, New York and attended St. Mary’s Catholic School. She was an employee of Hornell Gardens before she became a resident. Our family would like to thank the staff and leadership team at Hornell Gardens for providing a safe, comfortable and loving environment for her. We would also like to thank the Hornell Police Department for looking in on her when she was living alone, and her neighbors on West and Hartshorn Streets for being so kind. Uncle Dave and Aunt Marilyn were married in New York and lived for many years in Marrero Louisiana where they owned a restaurant called Dave and Marilyn’s. She was an outgoing and active member of her community who loved driving around the back roads of Western New York with her dog Suzi, enjoying Texas Hots and Ice Cream. She was fun, funny and the best friend anyone could have. She was loved and will be missed by many.
