Gladys M. Williams Arkport Gladys M. Williams, 98, formerly of Cream Hill Road, passed away Monday (March 31, 2014) at the Hornell Gardens. Born in Fremont May 24, 1915, the son of George and Lottie Apgar Gottschall, she had resided all her life in the Arkport area. Gladys attended the Arkport Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Williams, one son, Charles Williams, three sisters, Thelma Changose, Helen McClary and Florence Akins Buck, one brother, Glenn Gottschall. She is survived by one daughter: Lorraine (Gerald) Torrence of Almond, one son: Nelson Williams of Hornell, daughter-in-law, Annette Williams of Canisteo, sister-in-law, Mary Louise Gottschall of Fremont, 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. DuBois, Director at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home of Hornell. Honoring Gladys’ wishes there will be no calling or services. Burial will be in Fremont Cemetery.
