Edna M. Kemp Arkport Edna M. Kemp, 90, of Apple St, passed away Tuesday (July 29, 2014) at the Hornell Gardens. Born in Hornell, May 21, 1924, the daughter of Charles and Margaret Chapman Lamphere, she had resided many years in the Arkport area. Edna enjoyed playing scrabble and hosting card parties, playing both euchre and poker. She also enjoyed visiting flea markets. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Clifford in 2011, two sisters, Florence Druzynski and Rosalie. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Jane Elks) Kerr of NC and Margaret (Steve) Ball of Rushville, one son, Clifford (Grace) Kemp Jr. of Pittsford grandchildren, Tina, Lori, Jimmy, Tony, Malinda, Jamie, Ryan and Gerrit, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. DuBois, Director at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home of Hornell. Honoring Edna’s wishes there will be no calling hours. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday (August 8, 2014) at 11Am at the Heritage Hill Cemetery in Arkport with Rev. Pam Carey officiating.
