Vera Mae Lewis Hornell Vera Mae Lewis, 79, formerly of Davenport Street, passed away Sunday (October 12, 2014) at McAuley Manor. Born in North Hornell, April 6, 1935, the daughter of Shirley and Bertha Henshaw Marvin, she had resided in Hornell most all her life. Vera enjoyed jig saw puzzles, crocheting, playing cards and especially camping at Lake Lodge, She was predeceased by her parents, and her brother, Roland Marvin. She is survived by two daughters, Vera (Rick) Lorow of Hornell and Betty (Roger) Holbrook of Canaseraga, two sons, Chad (Amy) Chadwick of Avoca, and Earl Leonard (Tricia) Lewis Jr. of Hornell, one brother, Alton (Arlene) Marvin of Scottsburg, 14 grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held following calling hours at 5 PM. Rev Dudley Jenkins will officiate. Burial will be in Canaseraga Cemetery.
