Evelyn A. Brandt “Evie” “Granny” Angelica/Friendship Evelyn A. Brandt passed away peacefully in her sleep May 5, 2015, at the age of 86. She was born on February 28, 1929, the daughter of Arthur Robert and Ruth (TwarDokus) Watkins. Evie was an antique dealer for many years and could often be seen chatting with customers at the Angelica country store. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Donald W. Brandt, her grandson Derek P. Ward, and her daughter Donalyn R. Johnson. Evie is survived by her daughers Darlene (Dan) Ward, Deborah Holtz (Bill Reynolds), her grandsons Donald (Leah) Ward, Arthur Holtz, 3 great grandchildren Brianna, Haylea, and Mitchell, nieces, and nephews. A private graveside service was held on Saturday (May 9, 2015) at the Until the Day Dawn Cemetery in Angelica.
