Kenneth A. Gardner Canisteo Kenneth A. Gardner, 60, of 38 Chestnut Street, passed away unexpectedly Monday (June 1, 2015) at his home. Born in North Hornell, October 17, 1954, the son of Barney and Doris Comfort Gardner, he had resided in Canisteo all his life. He was a graduate of Canisteo Central School, received an Associates Degree from Alfred State College, and his Bachelors Degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Ken had been actively involved in the operation of his family’s business, Gardner’s Clothing Store, in Canisteo for several years. Ken was an avid skier and enjoyed spending time at their cottage on Keuka Lake. He was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his daughter Jessica Gardner Thompson and her husband Brandon of South Carolina.
