Clik here to view.Lawrence E. Terry Hornell Lawrence E. Terry, 95, of 54 Cedar St, passed away Saturday (June 20, 2015) at the Hornell Gardens. Born in Hornell, NY, January 16, 1920, the son of Raymond and Maude Cole Terry, he had resided in Hornell in his early life, later resided in Missouri and in Texas before returning to Hornell in 1975. He was employed as a finance officer for Beneficial Finance in Missouri for 25 years. He was a graduate of Hornell High School. Larry served his country as a member of the United States Army during World War II from 1942-1945. He was a member of the Hornell Elks Lodge, the VFW, the Moose Lodge, and was a member of Evening Star Lodge #44 F&AM. He was predeceased by his parents, wife Irene M. Terry in 1977, his life partner Jeanette Jones in 2008, his 2 sisters Lucille Peck and Ethel Sheeley, and 1 brother LeRoy Terry. He is survived by his son Shawn (Linda) Terry of West Virginia, a daughter Marcia (Jeffery) Clark of Hornell, his step children who affectionately called him “Pops” Rhonda Hills, Pam Lippincott, Sheila Jackson, Steven Jones, Roberta Dunham, and Tina Roberts. Burial will be in the Hornell Rural Cemetery.
