Dorothy G. Robinson, 92, of 8998 Cream Hill Road, passed away Saturday (November 16, 2013) at her home.
Born in Waverly, July 21, 1921, the daughter of George and Eva Barber Ribble, she had resided her entire life in the Canisteo- Arkport area. Following the death of her mother, she was raised by Charles and Dora Wood of Canisteo. She was a member of the Stephens Mill Grange #308 for over 75 years, former Priscilla Chapter, Order of Eastern Star of South Dansville, and worked
along with her husband in the operation of their farm on Cream Hill Road for several years. Dorothy loved bird watching and doing word puzzles.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Llewelyn and her daughter Eva Jane Boyle both in 2009, as well as her brothers, Charles and Clyde “Bud” Wood.
She is survived by her dear friends, Aileen Fitzgerald, and Rev. Herbert Spangenberg, and Aileen’s children, Shannon Fitzgerald, Francis and Robert Fitzgerald, special niece, Mary Ann (Jeff) Robinson, close friends and other relatives.

Private visitation and funeral services were held at the Bender – Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell on Monday with Rev. Philip Casterline officiating. Burial followed in Rogersville Forest Lawn Cemetery, South Dansville.
