Ruth C. Strauss Belmont Ruth C. Strauss, 85, of 102 Greenwhich Street, passed away Monday (October 20, 2014) at Highland Healthcare in Wellsville. Born in Wales, NY, March 27, 1929, the daughter of Herman and Elsie (Graber) Berg, she had resided in Belmont the last couple of years with her granddaughter Sonya. She was retired from The Dutch Haus in East Aurora, New York, and had owned and operated her own restaurant in Holland, New York. She enjoyed cooking and crocheting. She was predeceased by her parents, her son Bradley Stock, and her husband Donald Strauss in February of 1986. She is survived by a daughter Tracy ( Joe Karan) Westfall of Fla, 4 sons Kenneth Berg of AR, Brian (Wendy) Stock of OK, Craig Stock of CA, Curtis (Miranda) Stock of Fla, her granddaughter Sonya (Thomas Brennan) Middaugh of Belmont, several other grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren, and brothers and sisters.
