Clik here to view.Robert A. Williamson Hornell Robert A. Williamson, 84, of Cedar St., passed away Thursday (November 13, 2014) at his home. Born in Elmira, December 28, 1929, the son of Lester and Kathleen Sharp Williamson, he was a graduate of the Elmira Free Academy, Class of 1947. Bob had resided in Hornell since 1962. He had been employed from 1951 until his retirement in 1990 as a conductor for the former Erie, Erie Lakawanna, and Conrail. On March 14, 1981 Robert married the love of his life, Patricia Dininny Evans. He served his country as a member of the United States Army during WW-2. Bob loved horseracing, playing cards, reading the paper, doing the Jumbles, and especially enjoyed his daily trip to the Texas Café for coffee with his buddies. In addition to his parents he was predeceased, his wife Patricia in 2012, brother, James Williamson, and granddaughter, Erin Evans in 1977. He is survived by two daughters; Terry (Allen) Forshee of Canisteo and Jeanne (Thomas) Brewer of Hornell, two sons; Robert (Juli) Evans and Scott (Nancy) Evans both of Hornell, brother, William (Pat) Williamson of Maryland, sister, Alice Williamson of Elmira, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
