Cleon L. “Mide” Brutsman Cameron Cleon L. “Mide” Brutsman, 73, of County Rt. 119, passed away Wednesday (March 18, 2015) at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira. Born in Hornell, June 27, 1941, the son of Clarence and Melvina Campbell Brutsman, he had resided most of his life in Cameron. Mide had retired as a Truck Driver from the Cameron Department of Public works and loved the outdoors, country music, family, and having a beer with his friends. In addition to his parents Mide was predeceased by 6 Step-Brothers, Robert, Clinton, Alvin, Dale, Ronald and Raymond Brutsman, 3 step-sisters, Alice Weed, Mary Louise Brutsman and Rita Tidd. He is survived by his loving companion of 31 years, Nancy Nisbet Brutsman of Cameron, son, Scott (Joanne) Brutsman of Lincoln NE and daughter, Beth (Alan) Dartt of Cameron, Step-brothers, William and Donald Brutsman, sisters, Wynetia Witchar and Sandra Koon both of Franklinville, 4 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The family will be present to receive friends from 2-4PM on Monday (March 23, 2015), at the Brown and Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce St. Canisteo, NY 14823. Funeral services will follow calling hours at 4PM at the funeral home. Rev. Stacy Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Town Line Cemetery, Cameron Mills.
