Robert L. Jund Angelica Robert L. Jund, 90, passed away Monday (March 23, 2015) after a brief illness at the Hart Comfort House of Allegany County in Wellsville. Born in Rochester, May 1, 1924, the son of Leo and Elsie (Eastwood) Jund, he had resided in Angelica full-time for the last 30+ years. Robert was a self-employed wallpaperer/painter in the Rochester area. He was a veteran of the US ARMY during World War II serving from 1943-45. While in service he attained the Good Service Medal, European African Middle Eastern Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Medal. He was predeceased by his parents, his first wife Lillian in 1993, and his sister Vera. He is survived by his longtime companion Chris, several nieces, nephews and lots of extended family. The family will be present 11am-1pm Friday, March 27, 2015, at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 101 West Avenue, Angelica, where funeral services will be at 1:00 pm, with Deacon Frank Pasquale officiating. Burial will be in Until the Day Dawn Cemetery in Angelica with Military Honors.
