Barbara A. Knapp Canisteo Barbara A. Knapp, 68, of 8 Union Street, formerly of Tobes Hill Road, Hornell, passed away Thursday (April 2, 2015) at the Shorewinds Nursing Home in Rochester. Born in Hornell, February 2, 1947, the daughter of Melvin and Ruth Conners Dennis, she had resided in Hornell nearly all her life. She was predeceased by her father, Melvin Dennis. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Dennis of Hornell, her sister, Jean (Robert) Starace of Canisteo and her brother. A private service will be held at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce St. Canisteo at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Fremont Cemetery.
