Annabelle L. Bardeen, 91, of 2351 Bardeen Road, passed away Monday (December 30, 2013) at her home.
Born in Hornell, October 9, 1922, the daughter of Glee and Minnie Johnson Lewis, she had resided in the Hornell area her entire life. She was a graduate of Hornell High School and had been employed at Stern & Stern Textiles and the former Suburban Motors in Hornell. She was a member of the former St. Pauls United Church of Christ in Hornell and a long time member of the church choir. Annabelle was a faithful volunteer for the Fremont Fire Company Spaghetti suppers, She showed a great love for all animals.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Raymond H. Bardeen in 2001, as well as her sister, Eleanor Towner.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Wilma Sullivan of Horseheads, and Penny (Lewis) Smigiel of Avoca, her son, Raymond Bardeen of Hornell, 2 sisters, Sally Farrell of Clifton Park, and Marge Ellis of Victor, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Honoring Annabelle’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services, Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Canisteo.
