Clik here to view.Rosalie A. Drew Hornell Rosalie A. Drew, 71, of 66 1/2 Oak Street, passed away unexpectedly Sunday (April 6, 2014) at St. James Hospital. Born in North Hornell, October 3, 1942, the daughter of Robert and Marinda (Stephens) Lamphier Sr., she was a lifelong area resident, graduating from Hornell High School. Rosie had been very active in the Salvation Army participating in the “Home League” and was a Sunbeam Leader, and was also active in fundraising .She had many hobbies including scrapbooking, board games, baking, country music, Noah’s Ark memorabilia, vacationing with her kids, was a “Steelers” and “Mets” fan, loved Elvis and Tinkerbell, going to Broadway shows (Phantom of the Opera was her favorite) decorating for all holidays, and shopping with her best friend Kay Miles. Most important though was her family and extended family, she would help out anybody who was in need without any hesitation. She was predeceased by her husband Carlton E. Drew Sr. on July 5, 2004, and her sister Barbara Sanford. She is survived by 5 daughters Jean (Michael) Brainich of Utah, Carolyn (Richard) Turner of Hornell, Priscilla (Ronald) Feenaughty of Almond, Ellen (Don Watson) Drew of Almond, Kathleen (Todd) Kozlowski of North Tonawanda, 5 sons Carlton (Penny) Drew Jr. of Hornell, Andrew Drew of North Tonawanda, Anthony Drew of Hornell, David (Sarah) Drew II of Hornell, Rocky Drew of Hornell, 2 sisters Jeanette (Edwin) Miles of Hornell, Margaret Sanford of Campbell, 2 brothers Robert Lamphier of Canisteo, Michael Lamphier of Bath, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will be present from 5-7pm Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the Bender – Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell, where funeral services will be held on Friday, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Gary Miles & Brother Martin Schneider C.M. officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Canisteo.
